Loan Orientation for Small Business Growth Loans available for Startups and existing businesses in the city of Detroit. Loans range from $5,000 to $50,000. The loans may be used for equipment, inventory acquisition, job creation, supplies, operating costs and some working capital. To support small businesses and encourage small business development, the City of Detroit wanted to offer a lending program for Detroit-based businesses, We were the first microloan program in Detroit, selected by the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood and Commercial Revitalization as the official City of Detroit microloan program in 2006.
